Mosaic exhibit to open at JAG this weekend

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. This month's exhibit at Jefferson Arts Gallery features the polymer clay mosaic paintings created at Debortina Studio. The show, entitled “Flora, Fauna and Friends,” opens on Saturday, March 8, with a reception from noon until 4 p.m. Debo Groover has been an artist her entire life, and in 2008 she developed a new technique using polymer clay as a painting and collage material. Once a resident of Monticello, Fla., she now resides in Tallahassee with her partner, Tina Torrance.
