Motorcycle crash claims one life - ECB Publishing, Inc.

Donato “Donny” Castano of Monticello was killed, and his passenger, Maureen Castano, also of Monticello, was critically injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a pick-up truck on U.S. 98 in Wakulla County on Saturday, April 13. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the incident took place around 5:59 p.m. as the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on U.S. 98 behind the pick-up. The truck had begun a left turn onto Spring Creek Highway when the motorcycle traveled into the westbound lane to overtake and pass the truck within the intersection.
