Having basic knowledge of first aid, choking prevention and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can make all the difference during an emergency. Recently, personnel of the Monticello Police Department (MPD), including law enforcement and dispatchers, trained to receive their Basic Life Support (BSL) certifications. The skills they learned during their classes equip them to provide effective support
