MY VIEW – Fall is in the air
I think I see it coming. Nature knows it. I think people are coming around to it. The signs are all around.
The delicate teeny sulfur-colored butterflies are flitting around the Lantana bushes. Other butterflies know it too. They are bobbing to plants and wet spots.
I see migratory birds exploring our feeders. The regular birds know how to land and feed but it takes the newcomers a while to discover how to actually get the seeds. They dart around slamming into bushes, as the feral cats that patrol our yard lie in wait.
People are awakening to the change as well. I hear remarks about breezes that occasionally stir. Weather hurricanes are barreling into the Big Bend bringing rain and floodi
