The annual National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Hunting Heritage Event and Jefferson County Kings of Spring Youth Turkey Challenge, is set for Saturday, March 14 at Willow Pond Plantation.
The doors will open at 5 p.m., with Baby Gray playing for everyone’s entertainment and attendees will be able to begin bidding on the silent auction items, view the live auction items and may play games at the raffle booths in order to win chances on the many guns that will be given away during the night. There will be shotguns, rifles, turkey calls, artwork and other various items are available to win or purchase throughout the night.
The barbecue dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by the live auction and drawings for the raffle winners.
This is truly an event you don’t want to miss!
Single ticket prices are $60 with couple tickets being $100. Jakes tickets are only $25. Sponsor tickets are $320 and a sponsor table (with seating for eight) is only $1,000. Sponsor tables, in addition of eight event tickets, will also receive a sponsor gift from NWTF and the choice of a Stevens 410 turkey gun, Yeti Roadie Cooler or $150 gift card.
The Kings of Spring Youth Turkey Challenge will also be taking place during the annual banquet. Pre-registration is required to participate. Participants will hunt their own land, on Saturday, March 14, and weigh in their turkeys between the hours of 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. Awards will be presented at the banquet that evening.
The money from the ticket sales helps the NWTF conserve and enhance critical upland wildlife habitat and the conservation of the wild turkey. The money that is raised during the Jefferson County NWTF banquet that evening will stay in Jefferson County and also go to the State of Florida Chapter.
