New JROTC instructor appointed

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Major Clarence Arrington has been appointed as lead instructor for the JROTC program at Jefferson County K-12 Community Partnership School. The hiring follows a unanimous vote on a number of personnel recommendations that Superintendent of Schools Jackie Pons brought to the Jefferson County School Board on Monday, Aug. 11.
