Next total solar eclipse over Florida will be in 2045

If you missed the recent solar eclipse, don’t fret. There will be an opportunity to see another in 2045, and Monticello will then be in the path of totality, meaning the moon will fully block the sun.
According to astronomers, North Florida will experience totality on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2045, as the solar eclipse crosses the United States from west to southeast. The maximum view in Florida will be at Destin, at 12:19 p.m. that Saturday.
As projected, the 2045 eclipse will begin over northern California, and then gradually arc south and east across Colorado, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and the Caribbean before passing over South America’s Atlanti
