No easy solution to city’s buzzard problem

For residents concerned about an apparent buzzard problem in Monticello and wanting a solution from city officials, the remedy is not one that is readily available or easily undertaken. As City Manager Kurt Mackiewicz informed the Monticello City Council on Tuesday, May 5, he had done some research on the issue, based on complaints that he had received from residents about the congregation of buzzards in the city, most notably at the tower off Pearl Street.
