No one is an island
In personality types, I have consistently tested to be an introverted extrovert or an extroverted introvert. I enjoy being around people as well as enjoy private and quiet time alone.
Hurricane Debby left me without power, cell service, and internet. I could not call or text anyone to check on them and no one could call or text me. My introverted self was okay with the solitude as I caught up on some of my recreational reading at first, but the isolation without knowing how friends and loved ones faired the storm began to weigh on me after a while.
At first, I felt I was an island, but reality set in as I realized that in Christ and the Family of God, no Christ Follower is an island.
