Nurturing companionship in the garden

Companionship is such an appealing experience that people really take notice of it, in all its forms. When a special sense of belonging blooms, when an unexpected pairing delights, when the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts – how truly wonderful! It's not just about fellowship among people, either. There's true friendship to be found with dogs, cats and other creatures. Many have commented on good books as worthy companions, see God as a constant ally or feel utterly satisfied in the company of trees.
