October Chamber luncheon to feature Second Harvest

The next luncheon meeting of the Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce will take place at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at First Methodist Church Family Ministry Center (395 W. Palmer Mill Rd.) in Monticello. Toby Gable, the director of advocacy for Second Harvest of the Big Bend, is scheduled to speak. Second Harvest has had a significant role in our county's response to Hurricane Idalia.
