Officials offer assurance that all storm debris will be removed

County commissioners are asking residents to be patient with the hurricane debris removal and disposal operation that is currently underway.
“I know that it's been a hot topic and that it seems like it's been arduously slow, but the piles are going away,” Commission Chairman J. T. Surles noted at the evening meeting on Thursday, Oct. 17. “So, we appreciate everyone's patience, and we’re going to get everything picked up eventually.”
