Hailey Hesetline ECB Publishing, Inc. On July 8, at 6:30 p.m., at the Jefferson County Courthouse, the latest session of the Who We Were series was held. Who We Were is a series of talks given by local speakers about Jefferson County and its founding families. It is made possible because of a Florida Humanities grant and a joined effort between the Jefferson County Historical Association (JCHA) and the Aucilla Research Institute (ARI). The talks on local history given during this program, which is typically quarterly, are then recorded and stored, so that the information can be available for future researchers and history enthusiasts as well.
