The public is invited to One Night, a special worship event, on Sunday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m., located at the Madison County High School (MCHS) gym. Organizers are expecting a full house as talented musicians, passionate worship leaders and great speakers share the stage for the event, which is sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Middle Florida Baptist Association and area churches.
One Night has been described as a cross between a band-led worship concert and a crusade, for a worship experience designed for adults and middle and high school students. We know weary believers will be revived, the gospel of Jesus will be proclaimed, and we will sing our hearts out as we worship the King of Kings,” said Chip Parker, who is the keynote speaker for the evening.
Madison was chosen for this special night because small communities often have to travel long distances to attend similar events.
“We wanted to support the churches in and around Madison County by coming together with others in the community for an authentic spiritual experience that nourishes your soul and stirs your heart,” said Parker. “We wanted to bring it to Madison at no cost and with no strings attached. Whether you are seeking personal spiritual growth, looking to reconnect to faith or yearning for a fresh encounter with God, this One Night worship experience is for you.”
MCHS is located at 2649 W. U.S. 90, in Madison. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
