One-vehicle wreck on Old Lloyd Rd

On Wednesday, Dec. 27, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) responded to a call about a roll-over wreck that took place on Old Lloyd Road, along the curve in front of Old Fields Plantation. According to the FHP report, the vehicle was a 2010 Honda CRV belonging to a 74 year old Monticello man, who had been traveling west around the curve. For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the right shoulder of the curve, into the ditch, where it then struck a culvert and was launched into the air. The CRV overturned several times before coming to a final rest on its side, trapping the driver inside the vehicle until help arrived. Four F
