Parade entries and vendors wanted for MLK Day celebration

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Monticello is making plans for their 43rd Annual Parade and Birthday celebration, to take place on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. There is no fee to be a parade entry or a vendor, but applications should be submitted by Jan. 2. The Parade Committee, along with Monticello Consistory #331, invite participation from local organizations, businesses, civic groups, community leaders, school groups, bands, dance groups etc. This year's theme is “I am the dream – United we stand; divided we fall” and should be incorporated into parade entries.
