The Parkinson’s Foundation will host a virtual 2020 Care Partner Summit on Saturday, May 16 from 12 to 3:30 p.m.
This event is to provide care partners of people with Parkinson’s with an introduction to topics such as cognitive changes, mental health, resource care, self-care and practical planning. The topics will be covered in a series of panels, with the speakers answering questions submitted by the registered guests.
A big part of making life better for people with Parkinson’s is taking care of the people who care for them. This Summit will help care partners around the world create a plan to best manage unexpected bumps along the unpredictable path of Parkinson’s care-giving.
The Summit is designed with care partners in mind and is recommended for anyone caring for someone living with Parkinson’s, including spouses, partners, children or friends.
Due to the situation with COVID-19, the Summit's promoters decided to make some changes to their event in order to provide a safe alternative to the in-person gathering.
This year, it will be an online-only Care Partner Summit experience.
The in-person elements of the event will include the live Miami program and all viewing parties along with the current agenda.
This event is made possible by presenting sponsor ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc.
