Patriot Day: Remembering 9/11

Rev. John Hicks Guest Columnist Christians and non-Christians alike sometimes take for granted our days here on Earth. It’s easy to assume that we’re going to live another day. Most people don't think they could die in a terrorist attack or a natural disaster. However, on Sept. 11, 2001, four planes were hijacked by terrorists and used as weapons against the American people. Approximately 3,000 people lost their lives; countless people lost their loved ones; and our nation lost its sense
