After Al Reszel’s wife Terry was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010, he decided he wanted to do something tangible to help. The avid bicyclist decided to turn his love of cycling into something that would help fund research in order to help find a cure.
“I can’t do research,” says Al, a retired Wells Fargo Bank employee and retired school teacher. “But I can ride a bike.”
It was then that Al decided to embark on long-distance bicycle treks in order to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. He decided to focus his fund raising efforts on the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). So, in 2016, he decided to “hit the road
