At the Jefferson County Humane Society's Wolf Creek Pet Adoption Center (JCHS), many sweet animals are hoping to find their forever home. River, an affectionate bob-tailed kitten, is among those waiting to meet his new family soon.
Three-month-old River, a black kitty with a bob tail and bright green eyes, is the last remaining in his litter at JCHS. With all of his siblings already having been adopted, he's hoping to find his own family. Described by caretakers at JCHS as “extremely affectionate,” River enjoys cuddling, snuggling up in cozy places and perching on the shoulders of his people. He is friendly and gets along with other cats. He may also get along with canine friends, provided that he is given a slow introduction.
For more information on River and the other loving animals available at the Wolf Creek Pet Adoption Center, call 850-342-0244 or visit the center's location at 2123 E. Washington Hwy. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays through Mondays.
