At the Jefferson County Humane Society's Wolf Creek Pet Adoption Center (JCHS), many sweet animals are hoping to find their forever home. Sunrise, an orange tabby cat, is among those available for adoption.
Sunrise arrived at JCHS as a stray. As a result, she's a little on the shy side, but that doesn't stop her from being affectionate and “making biscuits” once she's warmed up to her environment. Some of her favorite activities are watching wildlife and taking naps in a screened-in porch or window. Sunrise gets along well with other cats, however, a dog-free home would be best for her. She needs a patient and calm family willing to allow her the time and space to adjust so that she can show her sweet side.
For more information on Sunrise and the other loving animals available at the Wolf Creek Pet Adoption Center, call 850-342-0244 or visit the center's location at 2123 E. Washington Hwy. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays through Mondays.
