Political forum is Oct. 17 Hear candidates in four local races

Republican and Democratic candidates in four local races on the 2024 General Election ballot are set to make presentations at a community-wide political forum on Thursday, Oct. 17, just days before early voting for the 2024 General Election begins. The event is sponsored by the Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and will take place in the upstairs courtroom of the Jefferson County Courthouse, beginning at 7 p.m. Candidates on the ballot who have
