Last Monday, I took Ali-cat to the vet. She had been throwing up a lot, including once where her emesis contained blood. Additionally, she was decidedly not herself, had stopped coming to greet me when I entered her room, had stopped eating and had taken to hiding more frequently. Even though she has always been shy as a rescued feral street cat, she has opened up in many ways to us over the last year and a half, and these changes were sudden and concerning.
When I first took Ali in, I took her to the Thomasville Animal Hospital, and was impressed by the vet and the vet tech's ability to handle her, feral as she was. We've had a year and a ha
