Ponderings…Finding a purpose
As humans, we go about our daily lives (at least, most of us do) looking for a grand purpose. We want our lives to be impactful, to mean something. It's all just a part of the great human condition, it's what drives us to be better, to become stronger, to get smarter. We want to improve so that, at the end of the line, our lives are worthwhile.
Sometimes, I watch my dogs and a thought crosses my mind. They have no purpose. They just sort of bumble around, and it's great. They don't need to be anything, or do anything.
