Ponderings…In the meantime

It seems like just yesterday I was typing up my first column of the new year, something about 'cold snaps and new years,' where I discussed the 18 degree snap freeze that killed my vibrant winter vegetable garden. I remember typing those words; it seems like I wrote them last week. It couldn't have been a year ago, and yet...here we are: the first column of the new year, again. Time is funny that way. We don't really notice it passing, until we look up from our keyboard and realize it's been longer than we thought. This time of year feels very much like a fresh start, doesn't it?
