Ponderings…Love which holds us steadfast

This weekend, I was honored to be invited to witness the union of two of my friends, as they entered into a new chapter of their relationship. It was a beautiful wedding, and I wanted to express my heartfelt thoughts on the ceremony, as well as some things that I have learned by observing these two wonderful people and the way that they support one another. Love is an amazing force of nature. People will tell you that there is a certain order to love, a sort of pre-determined trajectory that love has to travel in, in order to be deemed successful or healthy. I firmly believe that this is complete nonsense, having experienced love that “followed all the rules” and was extremely unhealthy
