Ponderings… Most of what I know

The world can be an increasingly dark place, it seems. When the pandemic struck our little planet, five years ago, I felt a sinking sensation of dread as the world as we knew it ended. It's been half a decade, and that feeling has sunk down into my bones in a way I don't think can ever be reversed. It was then that I began to truly pay attention, watching my 'fellow man,' and the ways in which they regard one another. I was disturbed by what I saw, and I admit, I have become a bit disenchanted with humankind as of late.  All I know is that it is never okay to bully someone, to their face or behind their back.
