Ponderings…The end of a road

I've worked here at the local newspaper office for four years, having started in May of 2021. In that time, I have won a total of 12 awards through the Florida Press Association, an achievement that still surprises me a bit. Writing has always been something I enjoyed, but with no formal training or schooling in journalism, I never expected to win any awards for my writing.  It is no secret that I have multiple jobs, this one included.
