Ponderings…When the fire within grows dim

It can be a challenge to know what to say, at times like this. Unprecedented times seem to be the only times we have anymore. Sometimes I wonder if my heart can break any more for our nation, our world, but then I leave my home and witness the way people treat one another and it does. I have started to write this column three times now, and twice already it has taken such a dispirited direction, I've had to restart. I find it increasingly difficult to stay positive or hopeful these days, and that can leave me wondering what, if anything, to say.
