American Legion Post #49 will be offering a free All-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. In addition to pancakes, the menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and orange juice. While the meal is free, donations will be gladly accepted.
Post Commander Ed Gifford says that all Jefferson County residents are welcome, adding that the event is intended for the sole purpose of fostering goodwill and building community relations.
American Legion Post #49 is located at 1085 S. Water St., and the breakfast will be served in the newly refurbished green building.
