Post 49 offers two facilities as event venues

Water St. (formerly used just by scout groups) is now available for other groups to book. Located adjacent to Post 49's main facility, the property has been cleaned up and sports new signage naming it the Otto M. Walker Hall. “The Hall can seat 50 people,” says Post Commander Ed Gifford, “and it has a working brick fireplace, a full kitchen plus an ice maker in the garage.” Already on the event calendar are Cub Scout Pack 803 on Wednesday nights and a church group on Sunday mornings.
