Post 49 to show “Gran Torino” on Aug. 10

In the 2008 R-rated Warner Brothers drama, Eastwood portrays a retired auto worker and Korean War veteran who despises many of those who live in his racially mixed neighborhood. As events unfold, he takes a heroic stand, develops an unlikely friendship and discovers common ground with his neighbors.
