Thirteen inmates at the Jefferson County Jail participated in a baptism service on Thursday, Sept. 19, as a result of the prison ministry jointly run by Pastor Jody Brown of Macedonia Church in Monticello and Marvin Graham, a retired pastor affiliated with Sweetfield Missionary Baptist Church. Sister Gloria Graham provided music, and certificates were presented to each man to mark the occasion.
