I read about the Florida proposal to eliminate property taxes and thought good luck! Looking at HB1371, I see there is no companion Senate bill, so it’s dead in the water. Getting something like that done to those whose standard operating procedure is tax and spend is like asking them for term limits. Our own county commission is a great example of this.
