Raymond L. Christopher, 61, of Monticello, passed in the Brynwood Center on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021. A native of Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Mr. Christopher attended FAMU, majoring in Architecture. He was well-known for his drawings for the construction industry. He had a love for farming and raised cattle, sheep, goats and chickens on his Monticello farm.
Survivors include his daughter, Xavier Christopher; brothers: Alford, Vancito and Roiley "Roy" Christopher; sisters: Bernice Stapleton, Ena and Lucille Christopher; brothers-in-law, Edward Mathis and Louis Thomas; sisters-in-law: Yvette, Luz and Myrna Flax Christopher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, on the grounds of North Jefferson Street. Viewing-visitation is 4 to 6 Friday, Nov. 5 at the same location. Tillman of Tallahassee is serving the Christopher family.
