Re-zoning, who pays?
I am writing this letter as a concerned neighbor about the proposed rezoning of 370 S. Jefferson St. as requested by Ms. Evelyn Hagan owner of Hagan Funeral Service. The land in question is zoned approximately 51% business and 49% residential/future conservation easement. If the zoning is changed there is no future barrier to paving 50% or more of the lot in question.
