Reams released on bond with conditions

Former Clerk of Court Kirk Reams, whom a jury found guilty of grand theft on Aug. 27, was released from jail on his own recognizance on Friday, Aug. 30, by order of Circuit Judge Stephen Everett, pending the imposition of sentence.
The $50,000 bail that the judge imposed carried two conditions: Reams must wear a GPS monitoring device, and he is confined to home, except for attending court appearances or reporting to pretrial supervision.
