On Dec. 21, 1962, in Monticello, Fla., a bright light entered the world – Reginald Rodell “Chuck” Watkins Sr. Born to the late Johnson and Mary Watkins, Chuck grew up in the heart of the Ashville community, where he became a beloved friend, brother, father and pillar of strength to all who knew him.
