Remembering 9/11
There are some events in our lifetime that have a lasting impact on us. It’s been twenty-three years, but I still remember the events of Sept.11, 2001, and the way they affected me and our nation. If there’s one thing that fateful day taught us, it’s that tomorrow is not promised.
Christians and non-Christians alike sometimes take for granted our days here on Earth. It’s easy to assume that we’re going to live another day. That’s not guaranteed.
On Sept. 11, 2001, four planes were hijacked by terrorists and used as weapons against the American people. Approximately 3,000 people lost their lives; countless people lost their loved ones; and our nation lost its sense of security.
