Repairs underway at senior center

Except for the rustle of blueprints, it's pretty quiet inside the Jefferson Senior Citizens Center (JSCC) these days. Since flooding in April caused category 3 water damage, daily activities for JSCC's clients had to be moved temporarily to another site. In the main room, although the carpet has been scraped away and most furniture is piled to one side, three renovation experts stand at a table making plans.
JSCC Executive Director Mazie Woodson-Glenn reports that all the flooring has to be replaced; it was obvious after the flooding that new carpet was needed, but now the wood planks in the prayer room are starting to buckle and have to be ripped up. Th
