The City of Monticello has an opening for our City Clerk. Because of unusual circumstances, we are in a position of appointing a City Clerk to finish out the 3½ year term that is currently vacant. According to our current code, advertising this position opening is not required. However, I feel very strongly that the residents of Monticello need to know they can be nominated and then appointed for the City Clerk position. Timing is critical, so if you qualify and are interested please deliver your resume to the City Hall or email it to me (because City Hall is short-staffed) katrina@travelswithkatrina.com by Tuesday, June 18th and then attend the special meeting at City Hall on Thursday, June 20th at 6 p.m.
