Respect and Remembrance Visit planned Sunday, May 19, 4 p.m.

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Members of local military veteran groups have planned a Respect and Remembrance Visit for Sunday, May 19. They will gather at 4 p.m. at the entrance to Roseland Cemetery, located at 450 E. Madison St., to visit the graves of eight men buried there who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Those who attend are encouraged to bring children, grandchildren and other youth to learn of their sacrifice. At each grave, they will speak the serviceman's name, post an America flag and present a brief remembrance of each man. Then they will ring a bell and say a prayer.
