Monticello Rotary Club has achieved the title of a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club. This means that every dues-paying member is a Paul Harris Fellow, having gifted $1,000 or more to the Annual Rotary Fund or to Polio Plus.
Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study, the precursor to Ambassadorial Scholarships.
Rotary District Governor Larry Kubiak came to Monticello to make his annual visit and presented this honor to the club and its members during one of their recent weekly Friday meetings.
Receiving their Paul Harris Fellow designations for the first time were Matt Coniglio, Sean Gray, Franklin Brooks, Isabella Gray and Dr. Anna Likos.
Receiving their Double Paul Harris Fellow designations were Mary Frances Gramling, John Lilly and Angela Gray.
Receiving his Triple Paul Harris Fellow designation was Ron Cichon.
James Muchovej was inducted into the Bequest Society for a commitment of a future gift of $10,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation.
