Rotary to host Community Mixer on Aug. 22

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Rotary Club of Monticello is hosting a Community Mixer on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Social, located at 80 N. Jefferson St. (on Courthouse Circle) . Rotary President Scott C. Arden says, “The mixer is a family friendly event. Appetizers will be provided. Come meet your local Rotarians!” The Rotary Club of Monticello is a nonprofit, community service club that meets every Friday at noon at the Chamber of Commerce office. Their service projects include providing scholarships for local high school seniors, wheelchair ramps for elderly residents in need and more.
