“Rural Renaissance” bill dies

It was looked upon by many in rural communities as a way of helping those communities who are struggling to keep pace, while urban areas of the Sunshine State seem to be thriving. Senate Bill 110, also known as the “Rural Renaissance” bill was championed by Sen. Corey Simon, from Tallahassee, whose senate district includes some of the state’s poorest communities. Florida Senate District Three consists of Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Hamilton, Jeff
