Safety 1st has recently recalled around 180,000 car seats due to a choking hazard. The recall states that, “…the headrest foam pad is not adequately secured for certain Safety 1st Grow & Go Sprint child seats…” The headrest foam can be easily picked off from the child and can cause them to potentially choke. The car seats that are a part of the recall include these following model numbers: CC321GYU, CC321GYUD, CC321GYY, CC321GYYD, CC321HAO and CC321HAR. There are around a dozen reports of children putting the foam in their mouths, however there are no reports of injury or medical treatment needed. The manufacturer, Dorel Juvenile Group
