Sallie Mae Andrews was born in Monticello, Fla. on Jan. 30, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Della Neely.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April, 2, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 4731 North Salt Rd. in Monticello. Public viewing is from 4 to 6 p.m. On Friday, April 1, 2022, at Hagan Funeral Service.
On March 27, 2022, Sallie heard the Master's call and is now “ Safely Home.” She leaves to cherish her love and memories five children, George (Mary) Andrews, James (Christine) Andrews, Nathaniel (Doris) Andrews, Robert (Maryann) Andrews, Ollie Mae Andrews Brinson; a devoted granddaughter, Sallie Mae Andrews, who was her caretaker while she resided at home; 27 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ocie Neely; and a host other relatives and loving friends. She was preceded in death by the following other family members: three brothers and two grandchildren.
Hagan Funeral Service aims to maintain a safe environment during the public viewing and the Celebration of Life. Face masks are required, social distancing and capacity limitations are encouraged during the services.
