Savannah Louise Odom King Bellamy, 73, of Monticello, Fla., passed at home on Friday, April 25, 2025. Homecoming services are 12 noon Saturday, May 3, at Greater Fellowship M.B. Church, with interment in Oakfield Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Tillman of Monticello, (850) 997-5553. Ms. Bellamy was a 1969 graduate of Howard Academy High School. She had vast work experiences at various agencies, including the Monticello Apron Factory, TMH, Big Bend Transit, Healthy Start Coalition and the Florida Department of Corrections. She also was past Worthy Matron of CH Henry Chapter 20, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Bellamy, Sr.; children, Mastershawn King, Katronna and Kenyatta King; stepchildren, Ernest Bellamy, Jr. and Jennifer (David) Upshaw; several grand and great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Odom, Isabella Odom Ford, Jennie Mae Simmons, Eunice (Charlie) Clemons, Lillie Mae Goblet, Brunes Perry and Geraldine Perry; brothers, John (Martha) Odom, Jack Odom, Charlie (Edna) Perry, Albert Lee Perry, Vanester Perry and Buddy Perry; in-laws, Theola Scott and Willie Mae Odom; caregiver, Linda Stebbins Footman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
