School district transfers several properties to county

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Jefferson County School Board voted unanimously on Nov. 19 to approve a resolution transferring ownership of several properties to the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners. The conveyance includes properties that have been under long-term lease by the county to operate the Jefferson County Tax Collector's Office, State Attorney's Office, Property Appraiser's Office, Courthouse Annex, Building/Planning/Veterans Affairs office, the Jefferson County R.
