Second Harvest speaks at Chamber about their role in disaster relief

At the Oct. 3 luncheon of the Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Second Harvest of the Big Bend presented an update and look-ahead at things to come in the fight against hunger in our area. Floyd Faglie, presiding over the meeting for the first time as Chamber President for 2023-24, introduced Events Manager Kristie Teal of Second Harvest, which he noted “serves 16 counties, including Jefferson County, providing food for those in need.” �
